Care begins before your piece arrives.

Each CrestaStrand order is prepared around its selected specifications. Proper storage, gentle handling, and product-appropriate maintenance help protect the hair, construction, and finish over time.

ORDERING & DELIVERY

A prepared experience.

Created-to-order cranial prosthesis and sheitels generally require approximately 4–8 weeks after specifications and payment are confirmed. Timing may vary when specialized materials, color work, or additional customization is required.

Length, color, cap construction, fit, and selected customization are reviewed before production.

Your piece is prepared according to the approved order details and applicable production timeline.

Discreet delivery

Orders are shipped with tracking. Delivery details are provided when the piece is ready to leave CrestaStrand.

MEDICAL HAIR SOLUTIONS

Comfort, construction, and gentle care.

Daily handling

Support the cap when putting on or removing your piece. Detangle gently from the ends upward and avoid pulling at lace, hand-tied areas, or attachment points.

Washing and products

Use products appropriate for the hair and construction of your specific piece. Avoid harsh cleansing agents, heavy buildup, chlorine, and excessive heat unless Client Care has confirmed they are suitable.

Storage and sensitive construction

Store the piece clean, dry, and supported in a cool location. Keep lace and delicate cap materials away from friction, direct heat, and adhesives not approved for that construction.

SHEITELS & TOPPERS

Preserve movement and finish.

Between wears

Place your sheitel on a stable stand, smooth the hair gently, and allow any moisture to dry fully before storage. Protect the parting and front construction from compression.

Styling and heat

Use controlled heat and avoid repeated high-temperature styling. The safest temperature and product routine may differ according to hair origin, color processing, texture, and construction.

Professional maintenance

Complex color work, lace repair, reshaping, and intensive restoration should be handled by an experienced sheitel or wig professional. Contact Client Care when you need help determining the appropriate service.

RETURNS & ORDER SUPPORT

Personal pieces require a personal review.

Because CrestaStrand pieces are hygienic and may be created or customized to individual specifications, all sales are final. If you have a concern with your order, contact Client Care within seven days of delivery so the circumstances can be reviewed.

Any available remedy depends on the nature of the concern, the condition of the piece, and the approved order specifications.
